It has been some time since our last update but we here at Vicious Cycle have been far from idle. Over the past few months we’ve pushed out an improved evaluation with a few new engine features; we’ve even included the assets we brought with us to GDC! New rendering features include more options for light baking to increase speed and provide a bigger range of quality settings, support for deferred anti-aliasing, better occlusion culling, and many rendering optimizations for faster performance. In audio you can now create sound groups to create a conceptual hierarchy to more easily control volume and reverb levels in a way that makes sense you’re your game and new in game audio debugging tools that allow for on the fly volume adjustment. Also we added physics support for vehicles with configurable suspension and traction, an improved IK system, and the added ability to use debug collision views in the editor without having to run a game. Lastly we have demo packages We have a few other features coming down the pipe soon so check back for updates.
